And just like that Christmas had already come and gone… We hope you had a joyous celebration and received some amazing presents. Now that the holiday season is coming to an end, people are looking forward to the new year.
In preparation to welcome 2022, some shopping malls (like Sunway Velocity Mall) have already taken down the Christmas trees and decoration. Time really flies, especially during the holiday season and when you’re in a pandemic.
As seen in the photos uploaded on the Malaysia Shopping Mall Facebook page, the Main Atrium and other sections in Sunway Velocity Mall have already cleared up its booths. Perhaps it’s because the mall is gearing up for its annual New Year’s Eve Specials that will be taking place this Thursday and Friday (30th and 31st December).
Since Chinese New Year 2022 is set to take place on the 1st and 2nd of February, our local malls will also be rushing to usher in the Year of the Tiger. Shoppers can expect lots of brands featuring the Tiger in their CNY promotion in the coming weeks. As seen in the top featured image, Suria KLCC has already started putting up their Chinese New Year decor.
