Abandoned Wolf Pup Grows Up With Humans And Acts Like A Dog

People raise various types of animals as pets. Most go with the standard pets like cats and dogs. However, others go for the unusual and unexpected, raising animals like snakes and other wild animals. This is also a similar story about an unexpected pet, who’s a wolf named Kira. Alida, Kira’s owner, Alida took her in when she was just 3 days old, already abandoned by her mother. Alida gave the helpless wolf pup a new life, raising and training her. Taming Kira was a truly tough task as wolves are wild animals, and she needed lots of care, attention, and companionship. Somehow, with the love and guidance of Alida, Kira did her best every day. Alida put in so much effort to tame Kira, and they got great results in the end. Kira finally became calm, peaceful, and harmless.

After living all her life domestically, it’s obvious that Kira cannot survive in the wild now, as she cannot hunt. As she abandoned as soon as she was born, she never got a chance to learn hunting from her m0ther. Ever since Alida found her, Kira has been hand fed. Alida states that Kira is smart yet stubborn. Thanks to Alida’s efforts of socializing Kira, she has met lots of people and dogs. Wolves are innately afraid of new things, which is called “neophobia”, so Alida took Kira to various places so that she can get accustomed to new sounds and smells. Although this was tough, it was important for Kira to lead a comfortable life with Alida.

Although there were hard times when growing up, everything turned out well in the end. Kira now loves people, and is really calm and attentive.
