Jay Chou’s 2022 Concert In Kuala Lumpur Postponed To 2023

Jay Chou (周杰伦) was initially supposed to hold his “Carnival World Tour” at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium on 29th February 2020. And then Covid-19 happened…

It was then postponed to 22nd August 2020, and again to 19th February 2022. But seeing as how the deadly virus is still at large, in addition to him and wife Hannah Quinlivan (昆凌) are expecting their third baby together, the concert is inevitably pushed back again.

Concert management G.H.Y Culture & Media has just released a new announcement and poster of the cantopop’s concert date. Fans will just have to wait slightly longer to see Jay Chou in action again as the new concert (at time of writing) is currently scheduled to take place on 7th January 2023. The time and venue remain unchanged.

Of course, concert fans who are sick of waiting can always submit a refund request next month (14th – 18th February 2022 to be exact) to myrefund@ticketcharge.com.my. Although more local showcases are starting to take place, large concert events are still put on pause. Don’t be surprise if the concert date gets pushed back again.

Facebook user Zach Chong commented that he didn’t expect to be waiting for 3 years after purchasing the concert ticket pre-Covid. Then again, no one expected the pandemic to screw up our lives. Speaking of concerts, do you remember the last concert you attended? Ours was this.
