Shauna has vascular Ehlers-Danols syndrome, which is a rare heart condition, so Ruby monitors her heart rate and blood pressure.
Shauna’s life was saved by Ruby several days ago. She began alerting Shauna that there was a problem. Even though Shauna was feeling good, she trusted Ruby and called an ambulance. It turned out that there was indeed a problem, as her heart was going into atrial fibrillation. Shauna was barely conscious when the paramedics arrived.
