(Video) Zarina Zainuddin’s Autistic Sons Can’t Stand To Be In Each Other’s Presence

It sure takes a lot of patience for Zarina Zainuddin to deal with her adult twin sons, who were both born with autism spectrum disorder.

The local actress shared a video of his two sons – Azal and Azil – on her Instagram yesterday (Sunday, 16th July). It appears that the latter had lost his patience after seeing his brother’s uncontrolled outburst.

In the video, Azil can be seen being aggressive towards a woman. His mother immediately went to calm him down. Meanwhile, Azal was seen contacting someone (presumably his dad) on the phone, complaining that he couldn’t stand Azil anymore. What’s more, the 27-year-old also refused to return home, and decided to sit at the front door of his neighbour’s house!

“Azal was trying to control his emotions. This is why I had to bring him along on my business trip. He’ll be stressed out if he stays at home. His brother, Azil, always triggers him with his outbursts. This time, he even ran away to our neighbour’s house. He’s now with me in Singapore, as I attend to my work commitments in White Sands mall,” the “Teduhan Kasih” actress wrote in the caption.

Many netizens took to the comments section to send some heartwarming words of encouragement and prayers for Zarina. “We don’t know the struggle you have to deal with, but may Allah bless you with good health and grant you abundant sustenance,” one follower of her commented. “I wish for you to maintain good health in taking care of both Azal and Azil. And I pray God shall bless you with abundant rewards,” Aliff Syukri’s wife, Shahidah, commented.

It’s certainly no joke when it comes to handling autistic children – especially when they can get violent. Hopefully Zarina will get proper help from experts who can provide the right tools when dealing with such unpredictable temperament.
