Attention all coffee lovers and foodies! This new coffee shop drop is so hot, it comes with a double shot of espresso! Tim Hortons, the iconic Canadian coffee shop that even have their own clothing line, is branching out and it’s Malaysia’s time to shine.
Tim Hortons will be opening not one, but two branches in Malaysia and the locations will be revealed soon. However, a Facebook user recently posted a picture, revealing that one of the outlets will be located at Sunway Velocity Mall. With over 5,800 branches around the world, Malaysia will be the 8th country in Asia to host the ever so delicious coffee branch. The good news is it doesn’t end there because by 2025 Tim Hortons plans to open hundreds of outlets all across the country.
Tim Hortons is known for their bite-sized Timbits, or donut holes – with this being an ongoing debate amongst Canadians -, to their perfectly baked and coated donuts to their savoury items. Of course, the main show has to be their premium coffees with their iconic Maple and French Vanilla flavours.
It’s likely that the Malaysian menu will feature the classics from Tim Hortons, as well as some exclusive local menu features, which will be unveiled at the launch. We hope to have a fusion of our own local coffees and flavours mixed with the delectable taste of Canadian Maple.
Tim Hortons first opened its doors in 1964 and since then, Canadians have been ordering their famous original blend coffee, double-double and their baked goods – which we cant wait to try!
