“Invincible” Season 3 has officially wrapped up, and what an absolutely bonkers ride it’s been! We’ve witnessed Oliver’s messy, but somehow satisfying, journey to becoming his own kind of hero (or, honestly, whatever he’s turning into at this point), the emotional whirlwind that is Mark and Atom Eve’s relationship, and the Guardians of the Globe’s gloriously chaotic breakup. Oh, and Cecil—always creeping in the shadows, pulling his classic “I’m saving the world, but don’t ask how” routine. At this point, manipulation might as well be his middle name.
Just when we thought things couldn’t get any crazier, along came the Invincible War. That’s right—alternate Marks from across the multiverse, each more twisted and bloodthirsty than the last, dropped into Earth like they were crashing the worst family reunion in existence. Our heroes? Outmatched from the jump. Earth? Wrecked beyond recognition. Cities crumbled like cheap Lego sets, while the evil Marks ripped through everything and everyone in their path. It got so brutal, in fact, that Rex Splode had to go out in the most heroic (and tear-jerking) way possible. RIP to a real one—we’re still not over it.

In the middle of all this madness, poor Mark was left completely shattered—watching multiple versions of himself destroy everything he’d ever fought to protect. The guilt? Real. The emotional damage? Massive. By the end of the episode, Mark was not just beaten up physically, but mentally crushed, questioning his role as a hero, his ability to save anyone, and, oh yeah, how in the world he’s supposed to stop an interdimensional invasion of himself. No big deal, right?
But just when you think things couldn’t get any crazier, Conquest shows up. Yep, that Conquest—the ultimate Viltrumite war machine, and let’s be honest, one of the nastiest dudes in the universe. He’s not here to mess around. He shows up to give Mark a serious reality check. Oh, and while he’s at it, he’s more than happy to throw some punches and make Mark’s life even more miserable.
But if there’s one thing Mark’s learned after all this chaos, it’s that no matter how tough things get, he’s gotta keep fighting—because, in the end, he’s still…

But before we dive into the madness that was the season finale (spoilers ahead, so proceed with caution!), let’s just say the final episode did not hold back. If you thought the emotional punches were over, think again. And if you figured the gore was maxed out—yeah, nope, they dialed it up to 11.
Stand Up, Worms, For He Has Arrived
The season finale kicks off with the showdown we’ve all been waiting for—Mark vs. Conquest. And believe us, it’s everything we hoped for and then some. Conquest, the Viltrumite nightmare himself, comes in like a wrecking ball, and poor Mark barely has time to catch his breath before he’s thrown into the most brutal fight of his life. Earth’s heroes? Nowhere to be found. This one’s all on Mark, and Conquest is not pulling any punches. The tension is sky-high, the stakes are even higher, and the punches? Oh, they’re bone-crushing.
It all starts with one punch—a punch so powerful it sends a shockwave through the city, like someone just flipped the “let’s destroy everything” switch. From there, it’s pure chaos. They crash through the city, leveling buildings like they’re knocking over dominoes, leaving nothing but destruction in their wake.

Now, if you’re getting some serious déjà vu watching this face-off, it’s not just the Viltrumite head trauma talking. That’s right, folks—Steven Yeun (Mark) and Jeffrey Dean Morgan (Conquest) are going at it again in yet another one of Robert Kirkman’s comic book adaptations. It’s like “The Walking Dead” all over again, but this time, Glenn gets a little payback. You have to love that Kirkman-verse crossover! The tension between these two actors is electric, and the fact that they’re having this brutal rematch makes it all the more satisfying.
Indeed, Conquest is on a whole new level of crazy. Imagine Battle Beast, but even more unhinged. Most Viltrumites care about the glory of their Empire, how conquering worlds fits into their grand plans. But Conquest? He couldn’t care less about all that. He’s not here for the Viltrumite cause—he’s here for the thrill of battle. Forget glory, forget ruling planets—this dude just wants to brawl. For Conquest, the fight itself is the prize, and Mark is his perfect sparring partner.
At one point, Mark manages to launch Conquest into space—which, let’s be honest, is a total “gotcha” moment for a second. But then Conquest does something that’s both insane and grossly impressive. Instead of, you know, staying down like a normal villain, he takes his own frozen, hardened blood (because why not?), shapes it into a heart, and then blows it at Mark like some twisted cosmic valentine. Yeah, you heard that right.

Invincible has been warming up, but Conquest? Oh, he’s been letting Mark treat him like a punching bag this whole time. It’s like Conquest was just waiting for the perfect moment to stop playing around. And then—boom—he grabs Mark and drags him back to the surface, both of them plummeting with insane force.
Of course, Oliver, having seen the reports of the battle, flies into the city and tries to jump in and help. However, his lunges at Conquest are not the best as the elder swats him away like an annoying fly. And that? That does not sit well with Mark. Seeing his brother get hurt? Nope. So, Mark shoves Conquest away, ready to defend Oliver at all costs.
Mark tells Oliver to get out of the battle zone, but of course, Oliver wants to help so bad. He’s not about to sit on the sidelines while his big brother faces down this juggernaut. But Mark isn’t having it—he pushes Oliver out of the way just as Conquest comes flying back in, landing another brutal attack on Mark. And as if that wasn’t enough, Conquest taunts him mid-battle, throwing in a snide, “Looks like you need all the help you can get.”

You’d Better Beli-Eve
And then, in a perfect twist of timing, Eve wakes up. She’s been out of commission ever since Omni Mark knocked her down, and her leg is a total wreck—we’re talking the kind of injury that would make most people call it a day. But this is Eve, and she’s been patched up enough by Cecil to at least heal herself just enough to be functional. She’s nowhere near 100%, but she’s not about to sit around and let that stop her.
Her parents rush to fill her in, but Eve is barely listening—because her eyes lock on the TV, where Mark is going toe-to-toe with Conquest in what looks like a battle for the ages. Seeing Mark struggle, seeing the destruction Conquest is causing? That’s all Eve needs to shake off the pain and galvanize herself. There’s no way she’s sitting this one out.
Even though a medical officer jumps into the scene, attempting to calm her down, warning her that she shouldn’t be walking, but Eve? She’s not having it. With a determined grin and fire in her eyes, she shoots back at them: “Do I look like I need to walk?” Because, let’s be real, when you’re Eve, you can fly, heal, and literally rearrange matter—you don’t need to walk to jump back into the fight.

Oliver Twists
Flying back to the battle between Conquest and Mark, things have only gotten worse. The fight has hit a fever pitch, and it’s painfully clear Conquest is gaining the upper hand. Each punch and blow pushes Mark to the brink, as they leave a wake of utter destruction. Buildings are falling like dominoes, and the collateral damage is off the charts.
At one particularly brutal moment, Conquest stops Mark in his tracks. Mark’s battered, barely holding on, and Conquest, true to form, seizes the opportunity for a classic villain monologue. Looming over Mark, he sneers as he mentions how well he knew Nolan. They weren’t just passing acquaintances—they were practically comrades. And if Nolan were still around, Conquest would’ve taken great pleasure in gloating over defeating his son.
Then Conquest drops his version of a bombshell: with a wicked grin, he reveals that Mark won’t be sharing this defeat with his father because Nolan’s been executed. The words hit Mark like a sledgehammer—more painful than any punch Conquest could throw. The shock leaves Mark stunned and vulnerable.

Just when things look their bleakest, Oliver jumps into the fray, landing a solid punch that momentarily knocks Conquest away. For a split second, it looks like Oliver might be the hero of the hour. With confidence brimming, Oliver even suggests they tag-team Conquest together, assuming the old warrior’s age makes him vulnerable.
But Conquest isn’t fazed in the slightest. He coldly informs Oliver that age has only made him more dangerous. Then, with disturbing intensity, he turns his attention fully to Oliver, telling him, in no uncertain terms, that he’s going to tear him apart and devour his heart. Casual threats, of course.
Before Mark can react, Conquest dismisses him with a brutal swipe, telling him to “take a break.” He then turns his wrath on Oliver. With horrifying precision, Conquest smashes Oliver in the face, sending him flying and leaving him bloodied and broken. Oliver’s coughs are filled with blood, and a handful of his teeth clatter to the ground. It’s an absolutely brutal beatdown.

Conquest, not done yet, grabs Oliver by the head and slowly, painfully, starts pulling at his body—like a cat toying with its prey. Every agonizing inch is drawn out as Oliver trembles in excruciating pain, while Conquest relishes the torment he’s causing.
Just before Conquest can finish the job, Mark manages to shake off the pain and spring into action. Seeing Oliver in such danger reignites Mark’s fury, and he draws Conquest’s attention back to himself. The fight is far from over, and Mark isn’t about to let Conquest destroy his brother.
In the middle of all this chaos, Cecil arrives, quickly taking stock of the situation. He swoops in and ensures that Oliver, barely clinging to life, is rushed away for emergency treatment. Oliver’s condition looks dire, but there’s still hope—thanks to Cecil’s intervention.

Meanwhile, Cecil can’t look away from the sheer devastation of the ongoing battle. Mark and Conquest continue to tear through the city with unrelenting ferocity, and it’s clear that the clash between them is far from reaching its conclusion. It’s a fight for the ages, and it’s anyone’s guess how it will end.
Eve-olution
Meanwhile, back at the Pentagon, Eve is gearing up for a bold move: she wants back in the fight. She’s well aware of the stakes and isn’t about to sit by while Mark faces Conquest alone. Cecil, though, isn’t having it. He shuts her down immediately, reminding her what happened the last time she tangled with a Viltrumite—and how badly she ended up. Fighting Conquest? That’s an even worse idea, in his eyes.
But Eve? She’s not backing down. She calmly points out that she has the power to rearrange matter itself—if anyone’s got a shot at stopping Conquest, it’s her. She argues that she might be their best weapon in this war.

Back on the battlefield, things between Mark and Conquest have only escalated. Conquest shows off his raw power again, hurling Mark through the air like he’s nothing. The fight takes them over the ocean, but Mark is still getting tossed around like a ragdoll. Conquest isn’t letting up.
Soon enough, they reach the shoreline, and what happens next is a gut-wrenching callback to that train scene with Nolan. Only this time, it’s even more graphic. Limbs are flying, bodies torn apart, and the beach becomes a slaughterhouse. The nearby city is obliterated in seconds. It’s absolute carnage, as Mark and Conquest’s blows level everything in their path. The bloodbath is so intense that it feels unstoppable.
Then, right at the peak of destruction, Eve arrives. Mark sees her, and his heart drops. He remembers what happened last time she fought a Viltrumite and pleads with her to stay out of it, his voice cracking with fear. The thought of her getting hurt again terrifies him more than the battle itself. But before Eve can even respond, Conquest interrupts—brutally breaking Mark’s leg. The sickening crack of bone is unmistakable, and Mark screams in agony. Conquest clearly wants to make a statement: no one’s walking away from this unscathed.

Eve, though, isn’t here to play defense. This time, she’s packing new tricks. She taps into her powers in ways we’ve never seen before. First, she increases the density of the air, freezing Conquest in place mid-air. It’s an insane display of power, and even Conquest seems shocked. He can’t move, held by Eve’s sheer willpower.
Then Eve pulls out her trump card—her power armor. We’ve seen it before, but this time it’s not just for show. She’s ready to go all out. And shockingly, she does. Eve actually holds her own against Conquest for a while, throwing everything she’s got at him. For a brief moment, it even looks like she could win.
But Conquest isn’t done. Slowly, methodically, he starts tearing through Eve’s defenses. Her armor is no match for his sheer strength, and piece by piece, he rips it apart. The final blow comes when he shatters the last piece of her armor, leaving Eve exposed and vulnerable.

What happens next is brutal. Conquest delivers a devastating punch to her face, turning it into a bloodied mess. But he’s not finished. He lands a gut-wrenching blow, his fist going right through her abdomen, leaving Eve crumpled and barely conscious. The sight is horrifying—her body is mangled beyond belief, and she’s barely holding on.
Mark, still in agony from his broken leg, watches in horror as Eve plummets from the sky. Desperately, he catches her before she hits the ground, tears streaming down his face. Her broken, bloodied body lies limp in his arms, and she’s too weak to speak. Mark’s frantic, calling out for help, shouting for Cecil, doing everything he can to save her. But the situation feels hopeless. He can’t lose her—not like this.
Death
Conquest, ever the sadistic warrior, notices the bond between Mark and Eve. He can’t resist one last taunt. With a twisted grin, he thanks Mark for the entire battle, telling him how much joy it’s brought him. Immense joy, in fact. Conquest is genuinely pleased, and that only makes it worse.

But Mark? He’s beyond enraged now. His eyes burn with a lust for vengeance, and at this point, he’s not even thinking straight. All he knows is that Conquest cannot walk away from this fight alive. Mark’s mind is made up—he’s going to make sure Conquest doesn’t see another sunrise.
With that resolve, Mark squares up and lands a massive punch on Conquest’s cybernetic arm, shattering the metal hand into pieces. But it comes at a cost. The force of the punch also breaks Mark’s own right hand, and it’s gnarly. We’re talking bent in all the wrong ways, bones sticking out—it’s not pretty. But Mark? He’s too blinded by rage to care as he beats up the old Viltrumite warrior.
Unfortunately for Mark, Conquest is still insanely strong. Even with a shattered cybernetic hand, the Viltrumite warrior manages to get the upper hand again. It’s like no matter what Mark throws at him, Conquest just keeps coming back for more. The dude’s an unstoppable force.

As the fight comes to a halt with Mark pinned down, Conquest gets weirdly introspective. He starts talking about how, deep down, he’s lonely. Turns out, being the ultimate warrior isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. He’s so good at what he does that others around him fear him, and as a result, he’s left with no real connections. It’s a twisted kind of loneliness, born from his own brutal success.
Conquest even explains that his name isn’t just some cool title—it’s a literal result of his endless victories. He’s conquered so many worlds, so many enemies, that “Conquest” is the only name that fits. He’s suffering from success, just like that DJ Khaled album, except instead of dropping tracks, he’s dropping bodies. It’s a strange and almost sad moment from a guy who’s done nothing but cause chaos and destruction.
But while Conquest is busy monologuing, something’s happening down below. We zero in on Eve, and suddenly, a pink light starts to shimmer around her. At first, it’s just a faint glimmer, but then it grows stronger—like her cells are reforming themselves. Slowly but surely, she’s coming back together.

Before anyone realizes it, the pink light envelops the entire atmosphere, growing brighter and brighter until—BOOM! A massive blast of pink energy shoots out, hitting Conquest square in the chest and burning him with pure power. Conquest is caught off guard, stumbling back from the impact.
Mark looks up, completely stunned. There she is—Eve, but not like before. She’s reformed, glowing with pink energy, almost like she’s surrounded by electrons buzzing around her. It’s a breathtaking sight, and Mark can’t help but ask, “How?”
Conquest isn’t done yet. Even after being burned by Eve’s blast, he gets back up, because of course, he’s too stubborn to die that easily. But this time, he’s in rough shape. His skin is completely burned off, leaving nothing but raw, seething muscle underneath. It’s a gruesome sight—the man looks like he’s three quarters of the way to becoming the Colossal Titan from “Attack on Titan”. But somehow, even through the pain, Conquest still manages to smirk.

He growls, saying he’s going to have to kill Eve for sure now, making it clear that he won’t stop until she’s gone. But Mark? No way he’s letting that happen. Not on his watch.
Mark, with his one good hand, launches into a frenzy, pummels Conquest over and over. But Conquest is still a powerhouse. He catches Mark’s fist mid-punch and crushes it, bones snapping under the force. Mark screams out in agony—his body can’t take much more.
But even with every limb incapacitated, Mark knows he can’t stop. Not until Conquest is finished. He can’t afford to let this monster survive. So, he does the only thing left to do: he uses his head—literally. With all his strength, Mark rears back and headbutts Conquest, using his skull as his final weapon.

With one final, brutal strike, Mark bashes in Conquest’s head, again and again, until it’s a mangled mess. Blood, bone, and muscle—it’s all unrecognizable by the time Mark is finished. Conquest, the once unstoppable Viltrumite, is finally down for the count.
Well, it seems like Glenn from The Walking Dead just got his payback, if you know what we mean. Karma’s a real one here, Negan.
With the battle finally over, Invincible—barely able to move—crawls weakly toward Eve. The victory may be his, but he’s in the worst shape imaginable, his body broken, every inch screaming in pain. But all Mark cares about now is Eve. He needs to know she’s okay.

As he reaches her, questions flood his mind. How did she survive? How did she come back stronger than ever? But right now, none of that matters. Before anything else, Mark makes sure to do what he’s been holding in through all the chaos. He looks into her eyes, his voice weak but determined, and professes his love for her. It’s raw, real, and something he’s been meaning to say for so long.
And then, just as the words leave his lips, the adrenaline wears off. His body finally gives in to all the pain and exhaustion, and Mark collapses beside her.
As Mark lies there beside Eve, completely spent, Cecil arrives with the Guardians, surveying the absolute devastation that’s been left in the wake of the battle. The city is in ruins, Conquest is nothing more than a mangled heap, and Mark and Eve are barely clinging to consciousness.

Cecil, ever the cool-headed strategist, observes the mess with a grim look. But there’s no time to waste. He orders the Guardians to pick them up, securing both Mark and Eve for immediate medical attention. There’s relief in the air, but the sight of the destruction is sobering. The battle may be won, but the cost has been unimaginably high.
Rebirth
Mark wakes up at the Pentagon, groggy but alive. As he slowly regains consciousness, the questions come flooding back. How? How did Eve survive everything? He saw her die—he knew it. Yet, somehow, here she is, alive and well. It doesn’t make sense.
Eve, sitting beside him, gently explains. “I didn’t die,” she says, “but I got really, really close.” She goes on to reveal something that even Mark didn’t know. From the moment she was in the womb, Eve was given powers. Her creators, however, put mental blocks in place to limit what she could do. That’s why she can’t change sentient matter—it’s not a lack of ability but a restriction.

But there’s a twist. Whenever something traumatic happens, those mental blocks get overridden, and she can use her powers without limits. Almost dying in battle was stressful enough to push her past those blocks, allowing her to do the impossible: rebuild her entire body from scratch.
As Mark tries to process everything, Debbie enters the room, her face a mix of relief and emotion. Seeing her son alive and recovering after the brutal battle brings her a sense of peace, but it doesn’t last long. The moment catches up with her, and soon, she becomes emotional.
She sits beside Mark, her voice trembling. Ever since he was a kid, she had been looking out for him, knowing that he was certain to become a superhero, that he would inherit Nolan’s powers. But nothing could have prepared her for this—seeing her son hurt and broken in a way no mother should ever have to witness.

She admits that it could have all been avoided if she hadn’t let Nolan convince her that it would be okay. She’s wracked with guilt, blaming herself for not stopping this path sooner, for believing Nolan when he promised it would all work out. Now, seeing Mark in this state, she questions everything.
However, despite her guilt, Mark assures her that she did everything right. He’s not angry, and he doesn’t blame her. She had always been there for him, supporting him every step of the way, and he makes sure she knows that. “You did everything you could, Mom.”
With those words, they both embrace, holding each other close. It’s a quiet, tender moment—one filled with love, understanding, and a bit of healing after all the chaos. No more doubts, just a mother and her son, reunited after everything they’ve been through.
A Hero’s Tribute
Now, we move on to Rex’s funeral. After he Sploded all over th—okay, too soon? Yeah, that was too soon. Let’s get serious.

The mood is somber as the main heroes gather to mourn the loss of their friend. Robot stands at the front, delivering a heartfelt eulogy. He reflects on Rex’s courage, loyalty, and, of course, his habit of acting first and thinking… well, never. But Robot’s admiration is sincere, and he makes an unexpected announcement—he wishes to take on the fallen hero’s name. From now on, in tribute to his friend, he too will be known as Rex.
Next, Eve steps up, but the words come hard. Rex had been her first love, her first everything—the good, the bad, and everything in between. They’d been through so much together, and now, all of a sudden, she has to say goodbye. The moment feels too big, too sudden. Her voice falters, and before long, she quietly steps away from the podium.
Away from the crowd, Eve finds a secluded spot. Mark notices and follows her, giving her space but ready to listen. She wipes her eyes and speaks, mostly to herself. She talks about Rex and how much he had changed over time. Sure, he wasn’t perfect (far from it), but he’d grown. He tried to be better. He had become more responsible, more selfless, more… Rex. And despite everything—everything—she really did love him. Even after the betrayal, the cheating, the mess.

But Mark… well, he’s smiling. Not because the moment is funny, but because in the chaos of the last few days, he’s just thankful she’s still here. Still alive, still with him. Through near-death, heartbreak, and so much pain, he’s just glad to have her.
Eve notices his smile and raises an eyebrow. Mark explains, pulling her close, and they embrace. One kiss, then another. It’s a private, soft moment amid the chaos—where, for just a second, nothing else matters but them.
Later, the two make their way to Mark’s bedroom. Aaand we’ll go ahead and give them some privacy. But wait—something’s strange. As Eve removes Mark’s Invincible suit and places it on the floor, it begins to glow. A faint, iridescent aura surrounds the suit, shimmering in the low light of the room. They don’t notice at first, but something is definitely happening here as the suit is dissolving. Is this a result Eve’s unstable powers after her resurrection? Or something else? A certain binding factor to Mark, hmm?

As the camera pans away from the action, Nine Inch Nails’ “Every Day Is Exactly The Same” kicks in. The perfect haunting backdrop as we’re thrown into a montage of new threads for next season.
So, what’s next?
Alien: Earth
The first ominous thread we see is the Sequid invasion. Remember those creepy, facehugger-style aliens from earlier? The ones Mark and the Guardians of the Globe thought they had handled on Mars? Well… not quite.
Turns out, one Sequid managed to sneak its way back to Earth, courtesy of an unwitting astronaut, Rus Livingstone. Now, as the montage of looming threats flashes across the screen, we catch a glimpse of Rus—once again serving as a host for the parasitic creatures. But that’s not even the worst part.

The Sequids have found more hosts. They’ve latched onto unsuspecting humans, spreading through the sewers of a bustling city. Down there, beneath the surface, they’re quietly multiplying. Plotting.
It’s bad news for Earth. And even worse for Mark. Another invasion is coming—and this time, it’s about to hit much closer to home.
The Beast Is Captured, Naw, Let Loose
Battle Beast’s predicament is far from straightforward, but one thing’s for sure—he’s been rescued. After his brutal escape into the cold void of space, an unknown group of aliens swooped in to save him. Their motives? Still a mystery. What do they want from Battle Beast? And more importantly, why are they helping one of the most dangerous beings in the universe?
Now, if you’re itching for answers, you might find some clues buried in the Invincible comics—but don’t worry, we’re not here to spoil anything major. All you need to know is that Battle Beast might have a much bigger role to play in the next season.

And let’s be honest, his insatiable lust for battle is bound to lead to some truly epic moments. Whether he ends up clashing with Mark or going toe-to-toe with another powerhouse, you can count on one thing—his bloodthirsty rampage will be a sight to behold.
The real question is, who’s next on his hit list? Whoever it is, it’s going to be brutal. And we can’t wait to see it!
Levying His Cause
Angstrom Levy—one of the most dangerous threats Mark has faced—is far from defeated. In the last episode, Mark and Oliver managed to bring him down, dragging him back through his universe-hopping portal. But that was only the beginning.

Angstrom’s not working alone. His mysterious, shadowy team of technicians—an unsettling, calculating bunch—offered him a twisted deal. They promised to heal his grievous injuries, but there was a catch: Angstrom had to serve them. Now, rebuilt and more dangerous than ever, Angstrom stands stronger, his resolve sharper. When he asks what they want in return, their response is bone-chilling: “You have witnessed what our ambitions have done to our world, and what we have done to ourselves to survive.”
It’s clear these technicians have grand plans—plans that involve conquering new worlds. And, of course, Angstrom has his sights on Earth. Their collaboration has only just begun, setting the stage for an inevitable rematch between Angstrom and Mark. The question now is, how much more powerful has Angstrom become, and can Mark stop him before it’s too late?
Another epic showdown is brewing, and Earth is once again in the crosshairs.
What Happened to Conquest?
And then there’s Cecil. Oh, Cecil. What the hell.

Seriously, if we had a nickel for every time Cecil pulled some secret plan out of nowhere, we’d be swimming in nickels. His “foresight” thingy, right?
If you tuned out in the last 10 minutes of the finale, you might’ve assumed Conquest was toast. Mark left him a bloody wreck on the battlefield. But nope, that’s not the case. While Mark thought he’d finally put him down, the real Conquest is actually being kept six miles underground by the GDA.
“He’s going to tell us everything about the Viltrum Empire and how to stop them,” Cecil declares, ever the puppet master. Whether Conquest will flip and give up his Viltrumite brothers is a question for Season 4. But there’s more to this than meets the eye. Conquest’s creepy little confession about feeling “lonely” and feared by his own kind might just be the leverage Cecil needs to break him.

Oh, and as if that wasn’t enough, we find out Cecil has another trick up his sleeve. D.A. Sinclair is hard at work on a new Reanimen project—except this time, it’s a lot more disturbing. He’s using the bodies of dead Invincibles from alternate realities to create his army of cybernetic soldiers.
But the real jaw-dropper is going to be Mark’s reaction. What’s he going to do when he finds out that Conquest—the guy who nearly ended him and Eve—is still alive? And, even worse, what’s he going to do when he sees alternate versions of himself turned into Reanimen? The possibilities are endless—and we’re on the edge of our seats waiting for that bombshell to hit in Season 4!
Infernal Affairs
In a mid-credits scene, we’re treated to one of the more intriguing returns of the finale—none other than Damien Darkblood, our Hellboy-esque demon detective (voiced by the ever-intimidating Clancy Brown). We catch him in the midst of a shadowy ritual deep in the fiery pits of Hell, summoning none other than Invincible himself. What’s his agenda? Oh, nothing too wild—just your average infernal plot to reinstall his lord back onto his ‘infernal throne.’ No big deal, right?

First introduced way back in episode two of Season 1, Darkblood was banished to Hell by Cecil after getting a little too nosy about Omni-Man’s dirty secrets. But now? Looks like our favorite demon gumshoe has clawed his way back—and this time, he’s seeking help from a surface dweller whose heart has blackened (presumably, Invincible).
The big question here: what exactly does a demon detective need from Earth’s mightiest hero? And how on earth—or in Hell—will this dark twist fit into Mark’s already chaotic life? Could this be the start of a sinister new chapter for Invincible? Or is Damien simply playing some next-level 4D chess?
Interestingly enough, Robert Kirkman once teased that he wanted to write a “going to Hell” storyline for Invincible, but it never made its way into the comics. Maybe this is the moment where that idea finally comes to life? We might just be in for one hell of a wild ride.
Will There Be An “Invincible” Season 4?

Well, of course! With all the plotlines being thrown at us in the last 10 minutes of the finale, you just know there’s more to come. And yes, “Invincible” will be back for a fourth season on Amazon Prime Video!
The show’s return was officially confirmed on July 26, 2024, during Prime Video’s adult animation panel at San Diego Comic-Con. The announcement came straight from the show’s creator, and we couldn’t be more hyped. While there’s no official release date yet, we’re confident we’ll get one soon.
With so many threads teased—from Conquest’s underground imprisonment to Darkblood’s hellish schemes—Season 4 is gearing up to be an epic continuation of Mark’s journey. We’re in for a wild ride, and we can’t wait to see where it all goes next!
All three seasons of “Invincible” are currently streaming on Amazon Prime.
