A few weeks ago, local comedian and actor Shuib Sepahtu made it known to the public that his family had been infected with Covid-19. Through his Instagram post, Shuib asked for prayers in order for his family to get through this test and for his family to be healthy again.
What is more concerning is that his wife, singer Siti Sarah Raisuddin, who is currently 7 months pregnant was also infected and currently in a worrying state. During the last day of their quarantine, the oxygen level in Siti Sarah’s body suddenly dropped and she was required to wear oxygen aids before being rushed to the hospital.
Siti Sarah’s manager had confirmed her state as she informed that Sarah was supposed to cut the quarantine bracelet on Wednesday (4th August). However, she suddenly felt uncomfortable the previous day and her condition worsened.
“Sarah was brought to the hospital for treatment by ambulance around 6:30pm. They were supposed to cut their quarantine bracelet today (Wednesday 4th August) but her health was not convincing due to the constant coughing and the decreasing level of oxygen in her body,” remarked Nana Mohd Rom, Siti Sarah’s manager.
According to Shuib in his recent post today (Friday 6th August), Siti Sarah’s condition is not improving and her oxygen level is also unstable. Following that, Siti Sarah had to be admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of HUKM, Cheras. In the post, Shuib also requested the public to pray for the best for his wife and the baby in her womb besides hoping that God will give them strength.
“Greetings everyone, this morning my wife was admitted to the ICU due to unstable oxygen and her condition is not very good. I humbly requested on this blessed Friday, please pray for Sarah and our child in her womb. May Allah ease the process and give them strength. May Allah bless us all. Amin,” Shuib captioned in the post.
In this regard, fellow celebrities and netizens alike have commented words of encouragement and support for the couple. Many have left comments praying for the well-being of Siti Sarah and her baby.
